Atomic Habits
- Success is the product of daily habits - not one-in-a-lifetime transformation.
- Your outcomes are a lagging measure of your habits. […] You get what you repeat.
- Goals are about the results you want to achieve. Systems are about the processes that lead to those results.
- Ultimately, it is your commitment to the process that will determine your progress.
- Diderot effect
- In motion vs taking action: It’s easy to be in motion and convince yourself that you’re still making progress. When preparation becomes a form of procrastination, you need to change something. If you want to master a habit, the key is to start with repetition, not perfection.
- We optimize for what we measure. When we choose the wrong measurement, we get the wrong behavior.
- Professionals stick to the schedule.
Gracias hermanita :*
